The Wallace Community College Adult Education Department is dedicated to assisting adults who are interested in one or more of the following: 

  • GED® preparation classes 
  • English as a Second Language (ESL) classes 
  • College and career preparation 
  • Academic support 
  • Basic literacy instruction for adults learning to read 

Classes and materials are provided FREE of charge and are available to adults age 18 or above who are no longer enrolled in school. Currently, classes are offered in Dothan, Eufaula, Abbeville, Clayton, Headland, and depending on the specific location, sessions are offered mornings, afternoons, and evenings throughout the calendar year. 

The program is also open to 16- and 17-year-olds, having all the required documentation of withdrawal from school.

ALL UNDERAGE DOCUMENTATION MUST BE PRE-APPROVED BEFORE REGISTERING FOR ORIENTATION.
